"Woods Creek" - SOLD

This is a special painting for me.  It is an indelible memory from a hunt in 2018 at Chelsea Plantation.  It was early January and the snow had fallen all night and all morning and was just beginning to clear around noon.  My good friend Walter Bundy and I jumped about 200 ducks as we walked in to hunt.  We knew we were in for a spectacular afternoon!  As the storm passed and the sun trickled through, we had an eye popping treat as flock after flock of Mallards, Blacks and Teal poured into the narrow open water on the icy "Woods Creek".  Limits of Mallards and Black Ducks were on the menu as my Golden Retriever "Mogli" worked like a champion.  This painting is 36 x 48 and is in a private collection.
